Mem Leak

Leo 10.5.2 kernel 9.2.0 p4 @ 3G 2megCache HT 2gig ram

 

I've noticed 2 apps eating memory now.

 

First using dd commmand to write an image to a SD card etc. At the starting point 1.3gig(In Activity Monitor) free after writing a 2 gig image there's a 10-20megs left. Activity monitor won't show its free after write completes.

 

 

 

Now it appears Transmission lastest version is swallowing over a 1gig while downloading a rather large file. Activity monitor reports about 8meg free memory after running for 4 hrs.

 

 

I should really try this on a vanilla box eventually to see if theres any difference.
