deleted_account
I basically have 7x CD/DVD drives that complements my Media Duplication Workstation setup. Though I can easily eject via the Eject button on the top bar, I have the option of choosing 1 of the 7, however, since they're all the same name, and I guess OS X loads the drives randomly each time, I don't really know which drive is which. For example, if I simplu want to use the first top drive, I wouldn't know which drive to eject since they're all the same identical drives. - How do Mac Pros and the Superdrives distinguihes the 2 drives (if there is one)? Thanks for your time, I look forward to your reply. deleted_account
It basically Reads as this: http://img162.imageshack.us/my.php?image=picture1dw8.png Everytime I restart the computer, the SATA drives switch (for example, if it was first, it'd be random, like 5th, while the others just switch around) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/100062-is-it-possible-to-labelname-my-multiple-7x-cddvd-drives/#findComment-883407 Share on other sites
