I tried the new version on El Captian 10.11.6, unfortunately SPDIF is still not working (does show up in sounds, but the signal seems to be muted or something). Didn't have the time to test in on a MacOS 10.12.2 Build

I updated kext, please try again.....maybe together we can find the decision ;)

YOU ARE A TRUE HERO! IT IS WORKING. Used the settings as shown in your file. Had to inject with kext-wizard as well. Putting it only in the Clover EFI kext folder didn't work

Use the Patched AppleALC: https://drop.byte.wtf/maow3zNpn/

Put it in Clover, but you need vanilla AppleHDA!

Sorry, can you go into more detail of what you did to get this working? assume vanilla sierra install. I have the same mobo and can't seem to get my audio working. I made the above mentioned changes to config.plist though I didn't have the lowPowerState option from the second screenshot so I just added it. I also downloaded the attached kext and installed it using #####. I didn't do anything with the dsdt file, not sure if it's needed or what to do with it. Thanks in advance.
