QE_CI Exotic Patch Yosemite 10.10.3

I am having difficulty with this (10.10.3) with a dual monitor (dual DVI) setup--it works fine with one monitor. I have an Asus 4850 512MB. 

 

When I add a second monitor, the primary display turns off, the secondary monitor turns on, with the extended display. The primary monitor will not come back without a reboot. Seems to be independent of whether I boot up with Clover (local HDD) and Chameleon ([url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] USB intaller).
