Good Morning…

I’ve been trying to get the utility to install but it keeps telling me that the ALC889 can’t be found (no HDA enabler) and it keeps installing VoodooHDA.
Is this normal?  What on earth am I doing wrong … not really too experienced with hackintosh systems.  Codec.txt gives me the following

NVidia (Unknown)
NVidia (Unknown)
NVidia (Unknown)
NVidia (Unknown)
Realtek ALC889

thanks very much
Rick

PS I am under Yosemite 10.10.2

I'm in the same boat, it couldn't find ALC1150 and installed Voodoo, which is not sounding very good at all.

Is it possible to undo this script? Which files were altered?

I appreciate your work and all the contributors. I think having a list of supported devices would be nice!

And also... support for ALC665 would be nice too! It worked so well in ML2.

By codec.txt you mean the output of cat /proc/asound/card0/codec#1 on linux?

If so, I can have it in a couple of hours. Thank you InsanelyDeepak.

EDIT: I just read the readme. I will send you the codec.txt for ALC665 when I get home.

Hi! My codec - alc269, I tried all layouts from 1 to 20, on 6 all works except internal microphone. On 9 layout - all works except Internal Speakers. In other working layouts same result (internal mic or Speakers not works). How to fix it?
This is my codec.txt:
"Realtek ALC269

Intel HD 3000 HDMI"

Sorry for my bad english =(

PS: Here is my dsdt, config.plist, ioreg and dump (from linux)http://goo.gl/snNg8D
