Although iMovie '08 is touted as simpler and easier to use, it lacks many instrumental features that it's predecessor takes for granted, such as themes, multiple audio tracks, and a timeline view. If you've just purchased one of those fancy new macs with iLife '08 pre-installed and would like to download iMovie '06, you can do so at the link below.

Plus, if you upgrade from iLife '06 to iLife '08, it keeps the older version of iMovie in a folder called "iMovie (previous version)" in the Applications folder.
