Theo Stanton
I have a Shuttle ST20G5 and so SATA drivers aren't in the installation dvd. I've therefore been trying to follow the Wiki installation guide to installing using VMware where I'd then Install the drivers once installed and then boot from Sata drive. However I'm having difficulties following it. After setting up VM then editing config files as tutorials show, I get this error message when trying to start the Vm: File not found: C:\Users\Theo\Documents\Virtual Machines\FreeBSD\FreeBSD.vmdk This file is required to power on this virtual machine. If this file was moved please provide its new Location. I then browse for it, select it and it gives me this very same message. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure it's just a small thing I'm overlooking. Thanks, Theo
~pcwiz
It means that your VMDK virtual hard drive is corrupt. Delete the virtual machine and start over. Follow my Mac OS X 10.4.8 Installation Guide for VMware if you like (the link is in my signature) Good luck
