Press the blue apple - > About this mac -> More info

Check under Graphics/Displays

Core Image and Quartz Extreme Should be assigned as supported.

Hmm, Im having trouble with the "About this Mac". Whenever I press it, I get a blank desktop and it looks like it relogs in.

Any ideas?

Thanks. The system profiler works. Im not sure why my "About this Mac" doesnt work. Any ideas?

You can also tell if its working by opening dashboard and adding a new widget, if theres a water ripple effect then you have it working.

Yep, that works :)

Thanks.

Now I just need to find out how to get "About this Mac" working. Any ideas?

you need the 10.4.4 loginwindow to solve that problem.

Do you know if this was the loginwindow thats included in the JaS 10.4.8.AMD.INTEL.SSE2.SSE3 release? I get a login window when booting up, so I belive its installed. How can I verify its the correct version?

its an optional install for al newer jas disks.

you have the 10.4.4 loginwindow if your about this mac dosent crash.

and if it does crash you have something other than the 10.4.4 loginwindow.
