iPod resets with Apple Lossless

So, my iPod resets sometimes (but not always) when listening to anything encoded in Apple Lossless (ALAC). Also on occasion, I find via Disk Utility that some header is corrupt. I'm planning on resetting it soon anyway, but is this something I should worry about? Has anyone else had the problem?
