Hey community,

today I tried to install MAC Sierra on my Intel PC. Everything worked fine. Installing internet driver, sound driver and usb drivers was not a problem.

But I failed to install graphics driver. I installed the last driver but when I restart the PC the apple logo is shining and the bar is loading until it is half full.

Then my pc is restarting. My boot options are: nvda_drv=1, nothing else atm.

I installed like the nVRAM thingy in the clover setup. In the attachment section you can find the last lines before my pc is restarting when it tries to boot.

Does anybody now a fix for that?

I replaced the CLOVER-folder in EFI Partition and ran the program again. Sadly its not fixing my problem.

Result is attached. I will have a look at the options for BIOS. I rly dont know about the kext files, I am a complet newbie I dont know anything thats why I asked for help via Teamviewer :/

I had a chat with some insanelymac user at night and they said I have to put SMBIOS to 17,1 because I got a skylake CPU (i5 6600k).

Something else I could do to help you fixing the problem?

Skylake, use iMac17 smbios, to avoid black/white screen use NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext + Lilu.kext, work in all SMBIOS ;)

and full DSDT patched ;)

good i missed the skyline part , so iMac 17.1 is the best for him then

also much simpler with NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext + Lilu.kext so he doesn't need to patch the file manual with AGDPfix

ye and after updates, dont have problem. best solution

Hello,

I had a similar problem… Working around…
My display is VGA only. So I buy a digital (HDMI) to VGA output converter. And done !

VGA display doesn't work with Sierra (but no problem with El Capitan…).
So try HDMI, DisplayPort or maybe the DVI output linked in one of the digital inputs of your display.
If you haven't digital input, you can buy a converter.
i hope this will help you.

Voili voilou :)
