McLaggin
Inspiron N5110 with i3-2350m; El Capitan 10.11; Enoch Bootloader (Clover just sat there with solid dash and went no further); If I don't boot with -v -f I get a kernel panic about AppleCPUPowermanagement which is weird because I have NullCPUPowermanagement installed in /Extra/Extensions and /S/L/E. Also it gives me random freezes, it seems to only happen when there is a lot happening on the screen, like an animation. Like when safari maximizes or minimizes or downloads a file or I open the app drawer. Might be graphics related as I haven't installed a graphics kext yet because all the ones patch the config for clover and as I stated above I do not have Clover. artur_pt
hello maybe cache problems .. -f = force kext to load from s/l/e good hack
McLaggin
It still refuses to boot with AICPUPM patched kext, still getting the KP backtracing to that kext. Do I need that patched kernel you linked to? Edit... I downloaded the kernel for 10.10 Will try the right one
McLaggin
Ok that fixed it... I had to have been installing it wrong. I am still having an issue where any animation from Safari causes a hang in the main graphics engine and I usually have to force shutdown from that. Sleep works except I have to manually click sleep in the apple menu, but I can wake it from sleep by opening the lid but it won't sleep if I close the lid. McLaggin
I reinstalled and installed kexts into /S/L/E only and now its working correctly, it sleeps when I close the lid. But the graphics engine is still hanging and the only way out of it is to force shutdown, even just moving the Safari window around causes the hang. I attached the files you asked for. McLaggin
Here you go; After I moved the 3rd party kexts to the right location, the whole sleep issue started again... Now it's waking up less than 10 minutes after I close it or it's not sleeping at all. Wake for WiFi is off, it never started this until I moved the kexts.
