Huckleberry Pie
Not a big surprise considering how macOS has recently been likened to iOS when it comes to devolving into a locked down walled garden. :/
midi-sama
hopefully, we can still make "anywhere" button return -for now-, and I think everyone totally understands this from a security point of view and apple's profits point of view, totally normal but there will always be a way to do a way around these. Apple not removing "anywhere" option but it will new way to get ride of this An unsigned application downloaded from outside the Mac App Store can still be opened, sidestepping Gatekeeper, using a button that will appear in the Preferences pane, or the other techniques already available, such as right-clicking the app in the Finder and choosing "Open."
