Early Reboot Problem

Hi guys,

I'm stuck for a while now with a strange problem.

I have an older Installation running Mavericks, but i can't boot this anymore.

Chimera is loading properly but when i select my Mavericks install, it loads the kexts and after the line where the CPU information comes it just reboots.

Looks like:

CPU Intel Core i5 2500K 3,3GHz .... ... ...

So there are just lines over about half of the screen.

I tried clover with a usb thumb drive and El Capitan on it, but it's nearly the same. After I select the OSX Installer the screen goes black, it prints just

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

then reboots immediately.

I tried also a Yosemite/Chimera installation, but then there's the same issue as i have with my current Mavericks installation.

I already tried several things:

  • tested nearly every possible bootflag combination, including
        nv_disable=1,npci=0x2000,-xcpm,cpus=1,kext-dev-mode=1,nv_drv=1,GraphicsEnabler=No,-KernelPM
  • patched the kernel with the Haswell Patch for early reboots on Haswell CPUs (although i know i don't have a haswell)
  • for clover i tried different drivers and kexts, removed VBoxHfs with HFSPlus, tried both OsxAptioFixDrv/OsxAptioFixDrv2
  • tried different BIOS settings (tested nearly every relevant option on and off)
  • reduced RAM to just one stick, removed all irrelevant HDDs

But all i try just brings me back to the early reboot issue.

One strange thing to note is, i have my current chimera on a different HDD, not on the EVO where OSX is installed.

When i unplug this particular HDD, neither chimera nor clover will boot.

Please help me guys, i'm out of ideas right now.
