fedorov
Hello everyone!I have an iMac 21,5 (mid2011).After updating El Capitan my Ethernet quit working. When I update to Yosemite I already had this issue, but it can fixed this solution: Go to HD -> Library -> Preferences Rename "SystemConfiguration" to "SystemConfiguration.OLD" Restart System Done! Today this solution dont work. System says I can't make this. How I can fix my issue? Maybe I need to download and install new driver for Ethernet Card? But I don't know there I can download new driver and how I can install it. Do you can help me? System info about my Ethernet Cards:
Slice
Try to use old driver. It may be more compatible. AppleBCM5701Ethernet.kext.zip
fedorov
Thanks, Slice. But I don't know how I can change a one file to another because system don't allow to do me it.But I found another solution for my problem: — Delete all network interfaces in System Preferences > Network — Delete file /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist (and maybe you can need delete file /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist) — Reboot — After Reboot go to System Preferences > Network and add all network interfaces (wi-fi Ethernet and other)— Done!
