  2. Hello Everyone! :-) I updated my hackintosh from Mavericks to ElCapitan and everything is working so far, but my networking-card isn't. Despite the fact that the web is full of people which have a working network with the same type of NIC. I tried a lot of kexts like this or from this italian thread (i'm not italian and can't read, but i translated with google). I also tried patching the IONetworkingFamily.kext myself, but no matter what i do, my network-card won't appear in the preferences. But as you can see in de clover-bootlog my lan-interfaces are somehow detected. 4:363 0:000 LAN 0, Vendor=11AB, MMIO=F9FFC000 4:363 0:000 LAN 1, Vendor=11AB, MMIO=F9EFC000 Now im at a point, where i no longer know what i could do to solve this problem. It came to my mind, that i maybe set something wrong in my DSDT, or in the clover.plist. It would be nice to get some help for this case. So if anyone has an idea, please share it with me. Thank you. 3. Hey guys, I upgraded my Yosemite VM to El Capitan, which made it slow, and I cannot upgrade VMWare Tools using Fusion 7.1.1 darwin.iso... And BeamTools.iso hack no longer works. My question is, and I know that 10.11 is still in beta and all. But I do have a dev account so it's for legit curiosity that am doing this. But is there a way to make EC faster ? I do have latest VMWare installed and VM has 16gb RAM and 4 cores allocated to it. I am on Windows 8.1 Pro x64... Thanks

  8. After 3 attempts i finally got a running Hackintosh, but i have static, crackling noise. It's low in volume and is ocurring when moving the mouse, using keyboard be it bluetooth or wired. It also occurs when loading a App. It's not audible when i listen to headphones out on the front of the case or the one direct from the MOBO. It gets not louder when i increase the volume, it stays at the same loudness. I plan to use this build for music production so i would love to have this fixed. As Audiodrivers i have ALC1150 and the 100Series Audio installed i also ran HDAEnabler using Kext Utility. In order to get the Nvidia Drivers to work i had to run two AGDP patches. As System Spec i used iMac17.1 and i also increased the USB Portlimits . I found a thread wich had a solution to very similar problems using these few codelines in config.plist: <key>CPU</key><dict> <key>QPI</key> <integer>100</integer> <key>UseARTFrequency</key> <false/></dict> That did not work out well and i had to start afresh, as i could not boot anymore into OSX, even with nv_disable=1 i had no more luck. It's very much possible that i screwed it up with code writing, so would like to know if anyone has any solution on how to solve this problem and when it involves injecting code into the plist, a thorough guide on how to do it properly would be nice. 9. I've just install ElCapitan 10.11.1 on a 2008 MB GA 945GCM S2C. The worse part was the first install because i can't make a working USB for the Vanilla method, so i finally make a boot USB with Chimera from tonymacx86 with Clover. It was extremely slow boot but finally i install the OS in an GPT partition. After the first install i need to boot with the USB the new partition, just to install this Kext's with Kext Utility 2.6.4 (I lost a lot of time using other Kext utilities but this one works): FakeSMC.kext (6.16.1372) AppleRTL8169Ethernet.kext for the integrated ethernet card AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext ( in order to have the Intel GMA950 working (Yes, it works!!! not full QE but just works). I think this one comes from Lion 10.7.5 x64 I install ApplePS2Controller, ApplePS2Keyboard and ApplePS2Mouse Kext for an old PS2 HP keyboard and mouse Just for making this works, i make an DSDT including the following: Use the GA 945GCM S2C from the old DSDT AutoPatcher with the DTGP method. Make sure you put the patches for GMA950 desktop, Shutdown Gigabyte, New HPET, LPC, RTC, AZAL to HDEF, GIGE, 3 states, CPU0-3 from DSDT Editor To get the USB working, i need to rename the DSDT entries for USB as EHCx for the address 0x001D0000, 0x001D0001, 0x001D0002 and 0x001D0003 and use EH01 for address 0x001D0007 in order to use the USB 2.0 properly in ElCapitan In order to boot the computer with the recently installed OS X, i use Enoch Boot Loader, with: <key>CrsActiveConfig</key> <string>0</string> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GenerateCStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GeneratePStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>KernelBooter_kexts</key> <string>Yes</string> Finally i update El Capitan 10.11.2 from the AppleStore and it works! So now i has an old Core 2 Duo with the following: - Intel GMA950 works - Ethernet RTL 8101E works - ALC 662 sound don't work with the modified AppleHDA, but i need to make more test including correct layouts in AppleHDA.kext - Reserved
  10. the audio (handled by AppleHDA.kext) is not working on 10.11.4 guest with workstation 12.1. It keeps stalling the system on anything that tries to produce audio (beeps included.) the Sound applet in System Preferences hangs too. Anyone else run into this problem? I removed AppleHDA.kext to resolve this for now.

    AD2000B Sound on ElCapitan

Hi Everyone, I managed to update my Hackintosh from Mavericks to ElCaptain. Everything is working fine, execpt i unfortunately do not have any sound. I already looked up for some kexts and DSDT patches but i didn't managed to get the things working. My Mainboard ASUS Maximus II Formula comes with a AD2000B soundchip. (Supreme FX X-FI) I also the AppleHDAPatcher by dragging the "ADI2000B" Folder into the program, and the patcher gave me a zip-file on the desktop. In this zip-file there is a kext and a readme, where it says that i should patch my dsdt, which i did. But when i want to do so, there are zero changes made, because my original dst does not have a HDEF device. I then looked up for a patch to add the HDEF device, but i don't realy know if it is usable for my board. After that i tried several layout-ids (0x07 and 0x09) bit with no success. Long story short: Here i am with no clue what to do to get my audio work. I realy realy hope, that some people can help me out here. Thank you Attachments: unpatched DSDT the output zipfile from AppleHDAPatcher patch wich adds the HDEF device to my DSDT (but i dont know if it is correct) edited HDEF patch, to suit the changes in the readme of the appleHDAPatcher AppleHDA-272.50.31-ADI2000B.zip DSDT_original.aml.zip add_HDEF_modified.txt add_HDEF.txt
