Are you sure you compiled it into *.aml format instead of just renaming it?

@Longyi-Li: Yes, I had properly compiled it back into .aml with MaciASL.

try this one .. check ur hdau device .. is kind messy

attachicon.gif DSDT.aml.zip

u should post also ur ioreg.. and clean files

good hack

Cheers buddy! Tried it, doesn't want to boot either.

I'm assuming by hdau you mean HD Audio? If so, I don't actually use my onboard audio 'cause its atrocious (it could even be hardware broken for all I know). So if that's causing any trouble, don't worry about it.

OK, I extracted a hopefully clean DSDT after booting with DSDT=NULL, and to my utter surprise I only get 2 errors with that one (looks like I'm even more ignorant to the workings of these tables than I thought). Along with that one I've also attached the config.plist that I use with empty CLOVER/ACPI/patched, and my output from the IOReg command. Hope that's what you were looking for.

And good hack to you too!

strm config cleanDSDT IOReg.zip

hello

is not that .. if u use any clover fix to dsdt ...

u can extract a clean dsdt by clover .. in clover gui

should be in /Acpi/origin

Where can you obtain the initial DSDT that needs to be patched? There are different ways involving Windows, Linux or OS X. If you were able to start Clover somehow, you can enter its GUI and press F4. If Clover was installed on a FAT32 partition, then it will be able to save all ORM ACPI tables, including DSDT and FADT. The process can take a while, especially when saving many tables to a USB flash drive. This is especially useful when you have no access to other means of extracting the table set, for example with AIDA64. Also you can save the patched DSDT variant: enter Options in CloverGUI

http://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Fixing-DSDT#Technical-background

then u upload all files generate by that .. and

don't see any ioregister

good hack

hello

try this ones

ur graphics are in ssdt table

attachicon.gifstrm.zip

good hack

Cool, thanks, I can boot with those ones.

However, MaciASL still gives me 3 errors, and boot time is 5 seconds longer now (39 sec. vs. 34 sec. with clean tables). Is this intended?

hello

just delete that lines .. are external methods present in other tables

about the time .. maybe u have a wrong plist

should read more about what u trying to achieve ..

http://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Configuration#Config.plist-structure

hack mac os x is 99% of reading , googling, persistency and 1% of luck u have compatible hardware.. not easy job .. to be easy .. u just buy a mac..

good hack
