Toshiba NB305 boot loop after SL 10.6.8 Combo Update

Hey guys, new here.

So, here is my problem:

I couldn't boot to Mac OS X Installer, but I found this (http://www.macbreaker.com/2013/07/chameleon-boot-usb-drive-on-windows.html). This is only how I could (I don't know why) boot from a USB with the bootloader (Chimera 2.1.0) to another USB with MacOS X image mounted.

So I installed Snow Leopard 10.6. I had nothing working (except for video in 800x600, mouse and keyboard), but the system was running. I found that my wireless card Atheros AR9285 had a kext on SL 10.6.8 but now is the problem. When I updated to 10.6.8 and boot from USB (or from the hd - I already installed the bootloader that I said on hd too) to the HD, it loads but when is going to show de grey apple it blinks and restart. So I'm stuck in a boot loop. I already had backup the /S/L/E before the update and restored it, tried to boot PciRoot=1, GraphicsEnabler=NO (but I'm in VESA and only shows a black screen and then reboot), already installed a kernel for my Intel Atom N450 (and I don't know if this fix something), tried -f, but no luck yet.

I already installed over and over (I don't know if it's necessary, but since I get no access to the OS I can't do nothing, except some command line in the Terminal from Mac OSX Installer).

 

Any idea or help please?

-v = verbose boot

 

and take a photo from boot or try to understand what is the problem

 

usually some machines have problems with 10.6.8 kext .. appleiopcifamilly and appleacpiplatform .. and must use from older version .. but just guessing .. no info about verbose boot

i see some msg about reading fat32 file ?

 

and ur graphics gma 3150 is not supported by any os x

 

probably ur problem is with graphics

I think is reading fat32 because of the bootloader that is in usb and was made on windows(like I said firstly).

 

Is there any kext or mod that I can do to boot to osx and not get stuck on loop reboot?

 

And a strange thing is: on 10.6 it boots normally, but when upgrade to 10.6.8 get stuck on boot loop.

Oi Artur tudo bem? Espero que sim. Vi que você é de Portugal (pelo que me parece) e eu sou do Brasil então achei melhor escrever em português mesmo (mas do Brasil hehe).

Seguinte, tenho novidades neste caso.

Desisti de ir por este caminho que estava indo e resolvi esperar o meu leitor de CD USB que não estava comigo.

Após algumas tentativas com outros CDs de boot o que me foi melhor e mais fácil (estilo plug n play) foi o Mod CD do nawcom. (Não achei o blog dele, você sabe o que aconteceu?).

Então. A instalação por esse cd foi tudo tranquilo, inclusive ele instalou o Chameleon e eu consegui dar boot tranquilo direto pelo note (sem cd, pendrive, etc).

Após instalar a 10.6.8 fiquei travado no PCI Configuration Begin mas resolvi dando boot pelo cd e entrando no instalador do Mac OS X SL e instalei umas kexts (não lembro quais - de outro forum que pesquisei - e npci=0x2000 ou 0x3000 não funcionaram comigo). Aí meu USB parou de funcionar, mas li em outro forum (acho que foi no olarila - inclusive, devemos continuar por lá??) e vi que vc disse para instalar IOUSBFamily e IOUSBMasstorageClass (ou algo do tipo) da 10.6.3. Fiz isto e OK, USB funcionando.

A GMA 3150 realmente não tem nada que resolva mas pra mim não tem problema. Achei alguma coisa que não sei se eh patched ou o que, era um arquivo boot e alguns modules (que deveriam ser postos no /Extra/modules). Fiz isto mas a resolução fica em 1024x768, e a resolução do note acho que é 1024x566 então fica esticado. Tentei boot com GraphicsMode=1024x566x32 mas não muda. Não sei como fazer mas isso não é o primordial pra mim, pois não há problema se eu ficar em 800x600: quero usar esse net para coisas básicas, nada muito pesado e nem complicado. Se não der pra ver videos nao tem problema. 

 

O que eu mais queria que funcionasse era o WIFI, que é uma Atheros AR9285 (vi neste documento https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17uMEfzNGR8FpVqsSCZRe57Icr8M0LfZFmAXf7pTI99g/pub?hl=ru que preciso de um DeviceID Fix). Tinha baixado esse arquivo http://www.hackintoshosx.com/files/file/2119-atheros-ar9285-for-10-6-8/ com uma kext e uma bundle mas não funcionou.

Quando eu entro nas Preferencias do Sistema e abro Rede, clico em +, nada acontece.

Você sabe como posso arrumar para funcionar o Wifi???

 

E outra coisa. Para fazer a instalação precisei desligar o built-in LAN e o Wake Up on LAN na BIOS (eu sei que não tem nada a ver com wifi pq la tem a opcao de Wifi que inclusive esta ligada). Daí agora com 10.6.8 rodando, USB funcionando, liguei o built in e o wake up mas não deu boot, ai desliguei o wakeup e deixei só o built in ligado e ele deu boot (apesar de demorar bem mais do que demora).
