The message is appearing every 30 secs on the console and stops if I unplug the power adapter.

I believe this has something to do with AppleACPIACAdapter which is not appearing in ioreg

I tried to apply the rehabman patch but nothing changes, and ioreg doesn't show AppleACPIACAdapter.

I am running Yosemite 10.10.2

Any clue?

update it seems that AppleSmartBatteryManager is being used. Still the error. I am now using a DSDT without any AC patch.

Suggestions? What dsdt edit should I try before removing AppleSmartBatteryManager.kext and see if AppleACPIACAdapter is loaded?

Thanks

Air-di-Chris:~ chris$ ioreg | grep AppleACPIACAdapter

Air-di-Chris:~ chris$ ioreg | grep AppleSmartBatteryManager

    | | +-o AppleSmartBatteryManager  <class rehab_ACPIBatteryManager, id 0x100000201, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (0 ms), retain 8>
