unknowghost
Hi, I have a Toshiba L745 with Nvidia Geforce GT 525M. It works ever since 10.9.2 and below, 10.9.3 up to 10.9.5 have problems with Nvidia kexts so I roll back all those kexts to make it work. However 10.10 doesn't work using the afore mention method ( IOAcceleratorFamily.ketx panic ). Using vanilla kexts, it gives me a black screen if I boot with GraphicsEnabler=No ( or not injecting Nvidia with Clover ), and if I boot with GraphicsEnabler=Yes ( inject Nvidia with Clover ), there's no QE/CI at all. Below is my IOJones and DSDT-SSDT from 10.9.2, hope someone could make it work on Yosemite. Thanks in advanced DSDT-SSDT.rar Nguyens-MacBook-Pro.iojones.zip
durpflip
i think you need the nvda_drv=1 kernel flag/boot flag and the latest nvidia web drivers. not sure if they work for GT cards though.

durpflip
The optimus don't work in mac OS X. correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think optimus existed when fermi arch was used for GPUs.
vusun123
The optimus don't work in mac OS X. You didn't look into the IOJones, that's why you are saying that. There's no trace of Intel GPU in that IOJones. Pure Nvidia GPU only in this case correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think optimus existed when fermi arch was used for GPUs. Optimus still existed up till now. There's just too few laptops with only one discreted GPU like this one ( spare the gaming ones )
durpflip
yeah some performance laptops have optimus,it only surprises me that a toshiba satellite, which my dad owns and only has an HD3000,had a model with a discrete graphics card...
