kaplishkap011 Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 hi i was wondering if i install a boot loader on my os x Yosemite hard drive will it remove windows 8.1 boot manager i have windows 8.1 on one hard drive and os x Yosemite on other hard drive and if i install a boot loader on os x Yosemite hard drive will i able to boot back into my windows 8.1? Slice Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 I don't know about "a bootloader" but I can say Clover should be installed into EFI system partition and it will boot both Yosemite and Windows 8.1 in UEFI mode. The original boot process: BIOS ->bootmgr.efi->WIndows Now it will be: BIOS->Clover->bootmgr.efi->WIndows Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
