TSKing Posted October 26, 2014 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Hello guys! I recently started my first mackintosh project: Using OS X on my Dell. I found this guide: https://github.com/robvanoostenrijk/XPS9530-OSX/wiki I managed to start Clover and selecting the option of booting OS X. ... Black screen There are a few possibilities of creating misstakes: 1. Clover installation setup --> what is the right setup? 2. How do I really install the kext files? 3. Did I forgot something? I created the USB OS X Drive with Apples Diskmanager, moved "BaseSystem.chunklist", "BaseSystem.dmg" and replaced the Packages folder. I managed to start clover with the setup only for UEFI Boards. After this I dropped the kexts in the "Other" folder for kext files. I would be very thankful if you can help me with the installation! (I trie to use Logic Pro X on my Dell because my Mac Mini has not enough power. In this case i need a hackintosh ) Greetings! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Allan Posted October 26, 2014 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Hi and Welcome. 1. Use this guide for create a Yosemite bootable device: Easy Yosemite 10.10 Final USB Installer - *Updated 10.16.2014 2. Use KextWizard for install kexts. 3. Allan Posted October 26, 2014 Share Posted October 26, 2014 In this version of Clover we don't have this options anymore. If you have InjectKexts=true then it should say without injected kexts because you're already injecting kexts. TSKing Posted October 26, 2014 Author Share Posted October 26, 2014 OK, so i have to just select "install OS X" and it will run?when I trie to start OS X, on the black screen appears this: "efiboot loaded from device:" {...} "boot file path: .IABootFiles\boot.efi" After a few moments it stops with: "root device uuid is '{...}'" When I start OS X normally with "return" there is just the black screen...
