I am still missing some items but baby steps should get me there. I have a couple of problems. One of my main problem is no Audio. I have seen a post about the Realtek ALC 889 but to be honest this is all new to me and I don't understand the explanations. I am not asking for someone to do it for me I am hopping that someone would help me. I know if i learn how to do this i should be alble to fix my Lan and help other. Can someone please help me. Don't know how to start. My build. OS X 10.9 Motherboard - Asus P6X58D premium RAM - 12GB corsair DDR3 534MHz CPU - i7-930 Bloomfield 130w GPU - Nvidia Geforce GTX570 DVD - ad-7241s ata LAN - 2 x Marvell® 88E8056 PCIe Gigabit LAN controller (still working on how to make it work) Audio - onboard (i have installed the 889 drivers for mac os still nothing). Hurrian Posted October 21, 2014 Share Posted October 21, 2014 On 10.9, use a Toleda-patched AppleHDA for ALC889 kext (and set Audio ID to 1 with DSDT) For LAN, you can hexedit and flash a BIOS with a new Option ROM, or install AppleYukon2Injector.kext.
