habergowd
Hi InsanelyMac, I have a partition on my hard drive just for testing. It has nothing to do with my primary SSD. Can i use the vanilla way to install Yosemite on it, and then use a USB drive to boot Yosemite from? Vanilla=Use the .app, select partition, install. Will it screw up my main installation? What will happen? Thanks.

pyrox
And..... If I have Mavericks installed and is booting it using an EFI on a USB - can I install Yosemite directly from my maverics environment using the public beta installer? (from the app store) With this I mean that I update my Mavericks -> Yosemite.
habergowd
Didn't work out, as chameleon doesn't see it as a bootable media. Sigh.
