Gigabyte GTX 660 OC

but at first reboot i get stucked at this point:

I tryed this kind of boots:

GE=NO -v -f

GE=NO -v

GE=NO -v -f USEkernelcache=no

but i always get stuck at that point.

In chat somebody told me that it's a GPU problem and to try disabling some kext but now i'm at work and i cannot test ^^

fsck -fy
mount -uw /
mkdir /kext_backup
cd /System/Library/Extensions
mv AppleIntelHD AppleIntelSNB AppleIntelFramebuffer AMDRadeon ATIGeForce NVDA* /kext_backup
rm ../Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/kernelcache

Hello

I never advice any distro, this include niresh,iatkos,... and others because is waste of time... choose retail, is the best

I gave to you a retail solution to install OSX... see that :)

Other, your hardware is very good und i believe that GPU will be recognized OOB.

Hello

Did you installed OSX with sucess?

If yes, now comes the post-installation, make this:

After install OSX, intall bootloader.

Download clover(bootloader) and install it: http://sourceforge.net/projects/cloverefiboot/

If your mobo has uefi enabled in Bios, install Clover in UEFI mode, if not, install Clover in normal mode(don't check UEFI mode install in Clover)

After that use Hackintosh Vietnam to adjust everything...
* In the section CPU choose the CPU/Model of your computer (it will serve to create your SMBIOS within config.plist file)
* In SSDT section, select the Custom option, config.plist will be created on your desktop and you put that in EFI/Clove folder
* In Section Kext select AICPUPM patch (something like that lol) to correct AICPUPM and make OSX work well for you ...
* In section Grafik select an ideal option for your grafica intel ... up to you to configure and view the model description and screen resolution
* After selecting some important settings, but does not select anything useless or will mess up all your hard work
* If I am not mistaken in section Kext has the option to install FakeSMC, install this kext because it is very important for OSX and is the only kext really necessary.
*In Tools section select SSDT generate, to generate a SSDT in Extra folder in HDD, get this SSDT from Extra folder and put in EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched folder, after that delete Extra folder in HDD

Make these all these steps
OBS: Don't re-boot before make these steps...

Hello

Use retail version please...

In clover try press [space] em select Without Caches... waite a while of time until get installation screen... if don't work, try change for chameleon...

You need press 1 while cursor blinking to get chameleon Screen... after that try boot with -f -v -x

See if you can get Installation Screen and install OSX :)

I installed it... now i'm stucked at "missing bluetooth controller transport!"

the things i did:

installed os

installed clover 2k

installed audio, network kext and then the gfx kexk.

so i rebooted with the 660 gtx plugged in ( before it was disconnected from mobo ) and it stopped working, WITH or WITHOUT the nvidia plugged in the pcie slot.

system don't boot in any way ( -x -v -f graphicenabler=no dart=0 )

Hello

Boot with usb installer... type -s in Chameleon Screen...

To get single user mode...

I'll use as example Noname.kext

and type:

cd System/Library/Extensions/
rm -rf Noname.kext

Simple :)

Some times is necessary type:

mount -uw /

to mount partition... if you see this in single use mode... isn't necessary type...

SUPER!

ok it loads ( have to flag always the USB ownership... but i'll fix )

now... what kext i have to install to get the 660 gtx working ?

There is no official driver in nvidia website for my gfx

REMOVING all gfx kexts ( ATI - AMD - AppleIntelHd - GeForce - NVDA ) the system loads.

But when i updated to 10.9.4, this reinstalled all the kexts.

What kexts shall i delete now ?
