I really thought when I could download and install Mavericks, I was home free until I saw an update available and it was Mavericks again!

I don't know where to do from here. Can someone please give me some direction.

I'm running 64 bit everything. I have 3 machines and all of them are doing the same thing. All are 64-bit. I may have the version a bit wrong but I can download on each machine and it'll install OK but when it reloads with the reboot, it does'nt come up 10.9 -- just 10.8. And, the update message is still on the desktop.
