apocalypse-666
Hello, I was using my Broadcom BCM 4322 wireless (BCM42222) mini-pci card on my hackintosh on Lion 10.7.4 with this kext: http://www.osx86.net/files/file/800-broadcom-43xx-for-mountain-lion-10-8-0/ Today I tried using the same kext with Mavericks. OS was able to see the card but it was unable to join any network. Anybody has any idea how to fix it?
bronxteck
you might need the airportd from 10.7.4 maybe your wifi kext as well location is \usr\libexec\airportd
apocalypse-666
Hello, thanks for your suggestion but unfortunately, I couldn't get it working. I first tried just replacing airportd, then with modified kext (both with and without IO80211Family.kext) none of those methods seemed to work for me Am I doing something wrong? Are there any other suggestions?
bronxteck
hmm i don't mean to pull you away from this discussion and posting another site but this seems similar to your situation. i believe that card to be the same broadcom chip. http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/5697-e6530-dw1510-not-recognised-in-mavericks-109/
