doggynub Posted December 6, 2013 Share Posted December 6, 2013 I have installed the maverick and now I donna how to enable these: 1) sound ALC665 2) Graphics card nVidea Gt540 3) boot without the usb I used to download the os 4) Enable the HDMI port to display on a tv Any help please? Gringo Vermelho Posted December 8, 2013 Share Posted December 8, 2013 I have no idea, I have 4 years of experience installing OS X on PCs with no HDMI displays, so I never needed to know about it. To boot without your installer flash drive you must install a boot loader to your hard drive. As for sound, you must figure out how to patch AppleHDA (this is the Intel HD standard sound driver that ships with OS X) so that it will work with your on-board sound. xplus93 Posted March 6, 2014 Share Posted March 6, 2014 Your hard drive is probably still GPT formatted, you have to boot the mavericks intaller and format your disk back to mbr to install windows.
