Help with choppy Graphics (HD4000)

I finally got ML to find my graphics in the "About this Mac" section. Intel HD Graphics 768MB. I have the proper resolution, but when I visit a site with videos like YouTube, it's all choppy and flashy. It was doing this before I got it to read my graphics too. So I know my fix wasn't the issue. Any insight?

EDIT: Also when trying to play WoW it tells me a valid Graphics Card cannot be found. My graphics card is intel HD4000 and IS supported. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try to install Enoch or Chameleon bootloader here from Downloads. From the options for Framebuffer Capri try all IG numbers between 0 and 9. Usually IG 3 or 4 should match. If you can adjust the ramsize in the bios for integrated gpu, try to set it to 64 MB.

Have fun.

My graphics are 8086:0166 rev9. So I have been using IG 9. Does that not have to match my graphics? Also, I can't set my graphics in my BIOS. I have been looking for an unlock solution but I really don't want to take a chance at bricking my laptop. lol. Thanks for the info though. I may try 3 or 4 and see if that helps.

EDIT: Tried 3 and 4 and graphics are still choppy and flashy. Check my attachment for the chameleon boot plist. Note that the device id at the bottom is actually what made my HP laptop say Intel HD Graphics 768MB and also read in my system info.

EDIT2: I'm still trying to figure this thing out. I have added my DSDT as well. When I try to compile I have only 1 warning and a few of the others but it will not fix. Any help on this?

Try to remove the device properties from your org.chameleon.Boot.Plist, if you have set there properties for your HD4000. It seems, that something is interfering with your set key for IG of framebufferCapri. Then try to find the correct platform IG.

Have fun.

That pics actually showed up correctly. Lol. It was stretched WAY out and was fuzzy on my laptop screen. It was showing I had a 15in when I have and 17in. Idk if that was causing that or not. For some reason I thought the screenshot would show the messed up ness. Right now I can't even get into the computer. I modified my kexts file from a walkthroughs I found and that's when it went stupid. Apparently theirs was a 15in screen so it worked. Now if oy I could modify it for mine.

Ok, so I was finally able to get back into my laptop. I had to replace the modified AppleIntelFramebufferCapri kext with the unmodified one and reapply the plist i had uploaded here due to the modifications i made to the one I had before. I'm going to post the pdf of what I followed to enable my graphics before. I actually had everything working from what I could make out. System infor picked up my graphics card as Intel HD Graphics 4000 and I had translucent menu bar, but my screen was stretched WAY to the right and I couldn't hardly see anything. If anyone can help me out with this I would really appreciated it. I'm dying to get my graphics working so I can actually play games. I have a 17in monitor with 1600x900 resolution if that helps anyone.

I have you told what I have seen, why you could have got a messup of your grafics. Perhaps your screen is not recognized fully and is causing your issues. Do a platform search with the arguments "forced display edit" and read the tihis arguments matching topics to find a solution for your gfx problems.

The other thing is, that you perhaps have to do a dsdt edit with an dsm method in your GFX0 (IGPU) device with correct set IG-Platform, and because of your screensize with duallink activated.

I think you have found the deviceproperties for your HD4000, which you are injecting with the org. Chameleon.Boot.plist anywhere in the inet. Altough  they do not match your hardware and work correctly, you keep them steady. In this case, one could not give you successful support.

Have fun.

SOLVED!!!! After endless trial and error, I finally got it. Below is the string and IG I used. Everything works now, no more choppy graphics, youtube works, and WoW works. :)
