ALC888 on Mavericks GM

Anyone had any luck with getting this to work? I won't mind doing a DSDT edit but a DSDT-less solution would be 'swell.

You need to set the codec ID to "1" in the DSDT, and use a certain Toleda's optimized ALC888 kext from The-Site-Which-Shall-Not-Be-Named.

 

Also, I found that on Mavericks, npci=0xNNNN is no longer needed (and can mess with PCI things) on certain motherboards.

Ah, noted. VoodooHDA 2.4 works, but I'll have to test it first as I've experienced KPs and/or static with using them before.

Toleda's ALC 888 Legacy kext just works for me.

Motherboard: IPIBL-LB / ALC 888S
