freemannnn
also for me asus en gt210 1gb works native. does this card suffers from fermi freeze in mavericks?
Riley Freeman
No freeze. The 210 is a Tesla card, not Fermi.
freemannnn
working in the desktop (no games) there is performance difference with a gt210 and gtx460 gt210 animations like minimize or maximize windows or pressing F11 or F12 (dashboard) are a little laggy compare to gtx460. i didnt expect to have desktop performance hit with gt210. strange. ok its just 30euro card but not so good performance just in desktop??? Riley Freeman
If you have HWMonitor, check the card frequencies. I had to use a AGPM edit on mine because the card idles in it's lowest power state.
freemannnn
update.... forgot to rebuild kernel cache, now i can see the messages in console. 19/1/14 15:53:09,000 kernel[0]: AGPM: GPU = PEGP G-state set to 1 from 0, ControlID = 17. SW occupancy updated. **************************************************************************************************************************************** i did this guide but this appears in console 19/1/14 15:24:19,000 kernel[0]: [AGPM Controller] unknownPlatform http://www.osx86.in/2008/10/increase-performance-of-your-nvidia.html the fps i am getting in glview is around 180fps. so i guess my card is running full and this is the max desktop performance i replace vendor id, device id and model identifier. also why there are 2 high and two low? ??? Ren.SX
I got the fan based 210 and it sucked, no way to turn off full speed, so I used an ati instead.
fyrekrig
How to get HDMI to work on this card? Works fine with VGA and 10.9.3 at any resolution. Tried HDMI on LG TV 1920x1080 resolution but after initial boot just restarts. No HDMI audio needed. Would love to have Maverics running on this now only Windows7 rig. fyrekrig
Try use macBook pro 8,1 as SMbios... Edited SMbios.plist but no luck, so tried the other outpot choices on the card. DVI with DVI/HDMI adapter and VGA. No DVI input on TV It turns out none works. Only get to boot and then restart. The TV is a LG 42" a few years old. All three outputs work with the same card and Windows7

fyrekrig
Everything works, including HDMI audio! The motherboard used for the test had not been used with OSX so the BIOS settings had not been adjusted. Once BIOS settings was changed everything work like a charm. Sorry about the screwup.
