iFIRE
The problem is your DVD method, make a USBInstaller with Pandora app/Forum/Download, when you make the installer have a option to remove Graphics kexts, try it, if you not have a Mac to make your USBInstaller , then you can install a Virtual Machine in windows VMWare and make you installer, is the beast option to install MAC OS because in a USBInstaller you can add or remove kexts to your hardware , the Sony Vaio is very difficult to install Mac OS, be patient, in section downloads download the app Hackintosh Seearch and search for a guide and Tuturials to your Machine o similar.

Hackintoshnewbiee
Thanks for the replies guys. But I fail to understand this: Pandora app/Forum/Download Please explain. I'd also like to know if there is a way to perform only a DVD install, as getting a USB where I live is a problem. I however have 2 4GB USBs, if they'd be of any help. joe75
Just so you know, you will not be able to have full graphics support on the internal display of sony branded laptops. This is a known issue with the proprietary display connector that sony uses.
