Yes it is. Your MOBO has a PCIe 16x slot. As for Mac OS, I am guessing that it should work, but I don't have any experience with that MOBO. Based on the specs listed, I am guessing it should.

Just don't expect to run recent games at high resolutions on it. Like the comments say it's fine for HTPC and "workstation" use, and no good for Crysis 3 or Metro: Last Light (which you could run just fine with for example a GTX 660 if you had a fast E8x00 series Core 2 Duo or Quad CPU).

i don't want to run games on its just that the flicker of flash files on browsers shud go
