Hello Guys,

im on an alienware m14xr2 ,ON VMWARE ( installed the same .dmg and worked without any errors ) i partitioned my sandisk 8GB usb flash drive using the disk utility, set to 1 partition. using carbon copy cloner i cloned the image -- PIRATED OS i --ml2 (.dmg) to the usb flash drive, it all was a success without any errors. using ##### installed chimera r2 onto the flash drive.

set the laptop to AHCI mode and booted from usb , chimera loaded when i clicked on the install disc the apple logo comes up ( attached image) and does nothing after that.

used the boot paramaters -v -x and got this error saying NO INTERVAL FOUND FOR . USING 8000000, and then says STILL WAITING FOR ROOT DEVICE !Posted Image (attached image)

ive tried all possibe boot parameters :(

specs - i7 3630QM
intel HD 4000, Nvidia GeForce 650M
6GB ram 1600Mhz

(post by iFire )

try this boot flag: -f -v rd=disk0s2 UseKernelCache=No npci=0x2000

in rd=disk, 0 is your disk , and s2Partition, see your partition, s2 in Example

one doubt since i have only one harddisk should i be entering rd=disk0 ?

I don't know what you really mean by core files... But you need to change some kexts not much more.

Just think of this: it is going to work just look at the video. He isn't going to make a tutorial but you know it's going to work.

Did you actually used 3.0 USB ports for your USB?
