Hi there,

I have a Gigabit EP31-DS3L with Realtek ALC888.

I used the auto patcher method for my DSDT and installed the legacy appleHDA kext.

The audio works fine sometimes, but sometime it doesn't. I can still see the audio card and control the volume, but there will be no audio output.

If I reboot the computer, then it will start to work again.

Sometime I need to reboot multiple times, and sometimes I can boot 5 times in a row without any problem.

The issue doens't occur after sleep or anything, it appears straight after boot

I'm planning to get dmesg and kernel+ system.log next time I got the issue, but i'm wondering if anyone have a better idea ?

PS: I am running 10.7.4
