Hi everyone,

I've got some problem with this notebook. All installation working fine except I need to put 3rd party AHCI injector into S/L/E or else my hard disk not detected. So far, installation working fine. However first boot for hard disk stuck at USBMC unknown identifier then followed by message "waiting for root device".

What I've done :-

- Pull all usb accessories

- Boot with -v cpus=1 USBBusFix=Yes GraphicsEnabler=No npci=0x2000(0x3000) but still same

My installation is OSX Mountain Lion 10.8 (##### 1.4) and latest Chimera from TonyMac

My spec -

Intel core i3 3217U

4GB 1600 DDR3

Intel HD 4000

Chipset HM77

Hopefully someone can help me.

try > UseKernelCache=no -x -v

if it boots do all the repairs.

I already tried all flags but it stop on USBMC unknown identifier then "still waiting for root devices". I still figure out what's the problem.

Finally managed to get it working except wifi which I replaced with Broadcom adapter. Right now I'm using EFI device-properties to make graphic acceleration work. If someone want to share their DSDT or configuration to make it more vanilla, please let me know.

Hi ya, is your laptop 14-b003sa C1W55EA? If so I have the same laptop and in now working with ML 10.8.4, only item not working is wifi card which I have replaced for Atheros AR5b95 and brightness controls.

I have problem with brightness control too, only get full brightness after wake up from sleep. Have you manage to solve it yet?
