Hi,

Was just wondering if anyone knew how to set default folder viewing in finder to list view and make it so that the file list doesn't auto scroll back to the top of the list when viewing or two finger scrolling files?

Been bothering me a while now.

if you have them sorted by date modified, every time you touch a folder or a DS_store file is created, it will bring you back to the top of the list because the order has changed. Super annoying I know. View by name, or as you scroll down click something to highlight it and it will keep it from bringing you all the back to the top

So this is just one of those annoying features of OSX Lion? Great..

turn off show all files helps, or add column for date added or date created and use them to sort instead, or use app to disable DS_store creation help too.
