I have desktop pc with this configuration: Amd Phenom II x4 840 3,2Ghz - CPU K9N6PGM2-V2 - Motherboard DDR2 800Mhz 4Gb - RAM GTX260 896Mb DDR3 - Graphic , or i can use my older 9500GT 512Mb ddr3 , i dont wanna to play games or have dual boot for some time so i will have that graphic for working Mac os X HDD 80Gb Sata DVD IDE And here is my problem. I read many forums and topics about hackintosh and my motherboard but here is results for most of versions, so read. Kallyway 10.5.2 AMD/Intel - result: Restarted pc when dvd boot iPC 10.5.6 AMD/Intel - result: Restarted pc when dvd boot / but with "-v -x busratio=20 cpus=1" it boot but only write "still waiting for a root device" Snow Leopard 10.6.2. Distro AMD/Intel - result: Restarted pc when dvd boot iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 - result: Installed succefully but after install it not boot, only write "AppleNforceAta found 0" or "still waiting for a root device" i tried many solutions like a rd=disk or arch, platform, -x -f -s -v and more... nothing Sorry for my bad english. And for information my motherboard dont have in bios AHCI but only IDE/RAID. Thanks for help, i want only hackintosh and it can be 10.5 or 10.6 but i want it work! Help me and thank you! MelloAndroid5123 Posted July 31, 2012 Share Posted July 31, 2012 I recommend retail install because it's more legal and less patches and unnecessary nonsense, just a recommendation ... But to fix your actual issue, after all of the other kernel flags you typed, type rd=disk0 or rd=disk1 if the first one doesn't work..
