Since 10.4.2 will likely be incompatible with actual systems, plus there will be new "challenges" to "port it to generic x86 hardware, shouldn´t we focus on developing oen source driver projects for those "generic" gadgets, rather than still be occupied in 1001 ways of installing 10.4.1?
Open source projects would be able to persist in new versions, no matter what Apple does (unless it wipes out the BSD subsysten which is very unlikely)

Well, mortis, the "OSx86 Project" - being the site - doesn't really set objectives. We just report the news, as well as open up a place for people to talk about things. If you or anyone else wants to start porting open source drivers, feel free! I know that Apple would probably appreciate it!
