xllcoreyxll
I am planning on installing Mountain Lion when it comes out, to get full resolution do I need a DVI cable from my PC to monitor? My specs are below, thanks. _________________ Specs: Gigabyte H61M-USB3-B3 Intel Core i5-2500K HD3000 graphics 8GB G.Skill Ram 2TB Seagate Hard drive
giofrida
You should get correct resolution and qe/ci natively, but i'm not sure. (i know there are some patches for HD3000)

giofrida
Of course should work via DVI and maybe via VGA. I found this page. Also, try to search in the OSx86 Project Wiki.
nyolc8
Yeah but do you know if I can get full res with a VGA cable? Or I need DVI? My FullHD monitor only have VGA cable, so I'm using a DVI adapter and I have full res and everything (but maybe you'll get a problem with display sleep as it's not working for me). Maybe sleep does not work because you do not have a DSDT patched.
