so i opened my ipod touch to replace the adhesive strips. So i had trouble putting the LCD ribbon back on i managed to put then i tested it. Screen turned on then it completely shut off. After putting everything back again i notice it wont turn on. I tired holding down the home and sleep/wake button. Could it be that the LCD screen ribbon cable is damaged?

update 1 i think the cable isnt put on right.  i managed to put it but know i get a white screen and some grey pixels and then it turns off

try seeing if apple will take it because i dont see what the problem could be but that u damaged it
