insanetechdude
Hi Insanely Mac, I'm making this post as I have lots of difficulty in my attempt to install Mac OS X on my desktop computer. I've installed iDeneb on a laptop before so I have a degree of familiarity with the process. My desktop computer is what I'm trying to install (any distribution that will work). The specs are: Gateway DX4300 AMD Phenom II X4 810 - Processor American Megatrends, Inc. P01-A4, 9/15/09 - BIOS ATI Radeon HD 4650 - Video Card AMD High Definition Audio Device - Sound Realtek RTL8190 802.11n & Belkin Basic Wireless USB Adapter - Wireless Adapter 8.0 GB RAM The closest I've gotten to an ideal installation was actually done in VirtualBox; what prevents it from being ideal is no sound and no wi-fi. Since I'll be using this for multimedia production, it's important that I have all components working. Which distribution do you suggest? Since previous attempts with iatkos v3s2 and other distros resulted in kernel panics or just never brought me to the Welcome to Installatio screen, I'm likely going the Virtualization route. -- Since I do not want to render my computer useless. However, if anyone is sure of a distro/method that would more than likely be successful, I may try my luck. Thank you all for your help in advance.
