    Gateway DX4300-15e & OSx86

Hi Insanely Mac, I'm making this post as I have lots of difficulty in my attempt to install Mac OS X on my desktop computer. I've installed iDeneb on a laptop before so I have a degree of familiarity with the process. My desktop computer is what I'm trying to install (any distribution that will work). The specs are: Gateway DX4300 AMD Phenom II X4 810 - Processor American Megatrends, Inc. P01-A4, 9/15/09 - BIOS ATI Radeon HD 4650 - Video Card AMD High Definition Audio Device - Sound Realtek RTL8190 802.11n & Belkin Basic Wireless USB Adapter - Wireless Adapter 8.0 GB RAM The closest I've gotten to an ideal installation was actually done in VirtualBox; what prevents it from being ideal is no sound and no wi-fi. Since I'll be using this for multimedia production, it's important that I have all components working. Which distribution do you suggest? Since previous attempts with iatkos v3s2 and other distros resulted in kernel panics or just never brought me to the Welcome to Installatio screen, I'm likely going the Virtualization route. -- Since I do not want to render my computer useless. However, if anyone is sure of a distro/method that would more than likely be successful, I may try my luck. Thank you all for your help in advance.

    VMWare - Can't Use Yosemite

I have VmWare Workstation Pro 12 and whenever I try to use Mac os X Yosemite on my computer, it only loads half a bar. I used all unlockers but none of them worked and I really need help. I even tried VMWare Player and nothing. I have both Mac Os X Yosemite 10.10 and 10. 9 I have a Windows 10 Laptop: HP Pavillion x360 with Intel® HD Graphics It loads Windows XP and Windows 8.1 just fine. Why not Mac Os X? If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it.

Ainda existem aqueles Niresh? iAtkos? Vocês recomendam utiliza-los? Me desculpem pelas várias perguntas. Mas queria ter uma base de informações para poder começar o processo. Obrigado!
  6. Hi all, So I am trying to get a hackintosh running for a friend of mine and I am running into some issues. Here is my hardware setup Gigabyte GA-H87N-WIFI LGA 1150 Intel Core i5-4430 Quad Core Haswell @ 3.0 Ghz 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 MHz PC3-12800 240GB SSD I used the CustoMac Mini Deluxe build, the only thing I left out of the list was the video card, which was listed as optional So, I originally tried to follow tonymac's tutorial which did not get me very far. During bootup after finishing the OS install, I would get a whole screen full of distorted lines and the process would not go any further. So I decided to try another tutorial to try and get mavericks installed. The second time around, I used this tutorial for installing a vanilla OS X 10.9 http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280756-guide-the-all-in-one-guide-to-vanilla-os-x-including-chameleon-dsdt-for-beginners-updated-for-mavericks/ This tutorial seemed to be much better, but after I do the initial install of OSX onto my SSD (btw, the only way I could get the installer to load was via the –x -f –v flag during boot) I am getting a kernel panic. I have quite a bit of experience with UNIX/Linux so I am not at all afraid of the command line, but I have to admit some of the messages that get spit out in verbose boot make it sound like your computer is just about to commit suicide in some graphic and dramatic way. Here is a screenshot of the kernel panic that I am running into (btw, this is also when I use the –x –v –f boot flags – for some reason it worked without issue the first time, but at the point of the tutorial where I am supposed to boot back into the installer and run a few things in terminal, I am not able to get back into the installer to load up the terminal application). I should mention that when I view the boot process with the –v (verbose) flag, I do see some error messages that say something about the CPU not being compatible with the system, even though this processor is listed on the site that specs out hackintosh builds. Occasionally the boot process seems to get hung up on something related to Bluetooth as well, but I do not have a picture of the output readily available. I can upload a pic when I get home from work tho (that is, if I can get it to fail in the same way).. Any idea what is going on?
  7. Hello guys, I'm trying to install MacOsx Lion using iAtkos L2 on my Dell vostro 1015 laptop. Leopard on Inspiron 518

Hi I have looked into this a lot and have now wanted to actually try it. So I have a Dell Inspiron 518 with a Intel core 2 quad CPU at 2.4ghz (SSE 1, 2, 3) And a (upgraded) gfx: ATI Radeon HD 4250, 3gigs ram, and a 500gb drive. I have dual booted Windows 8 and have taken this baby apart many times. I can run most modern games at a reasonable resolution with almost no lag. So I have wanted to program with XCode I am an experienced Java, C++, C#, and flash programmer and have wanted to make iPhone apps recently. I would like to know if you guys could give me a guide and drivers I can test out and an iso because I have tried iATKOS and have posted to their forum but they are inactive. So if you could give me a guide, drivers, an iso (ideneb etc.) in Leopard (at least, higher is ok) yeeaaahhhh, that would be greaaat. Thanks. Also some tips.
