tj13820
I just installed 10.7 on my Asus Maximus IV Gene-z/gen3 and when rebooting, I have to use the DVD's boot loader. Chameleon is that latest build, updated to the latest SVN build. Disk1 = Windows 7 Disk 2 = OSX Disk 3 = storage drive It gives no error, but hangs with a blinking underscore. No boot! Foxic
I don't understand your situation, please explain more clearly. Do you have chameleon installed to your OS X partiiton? Trunk revision 1819 of Chameleon 2.1 is fine to use, any later than that and you're in Mountail Lion teritory. tj13820
When I attempt to select my OSX drive as the boot drive in the bios, and start up the computer it won't load. For some reason, the boot loader isn't being seen on my hard drives, but works fine from my iAtkos L2 DVD. Gringo Vermelho
How did you install it? Try a manual install, see boothelp.txt or the manual install guide in the Genius bar for more information. Foxic
I don't believe you have installed a bootloader to your OS X partition. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/276626-new-install-no-boot-loader/#findComment-1802172 Share on other sites
tj13820
I've tried installing both Chameleon and Chimera and neither work. Well never mind! I got it Had the wrong drive selected. I have two Western Digital 320Gb SATAII drives that show up as the same damn thin in the BIOS!
