Is this new SSDT 10.7.4 compatible? Been hearing a lot of talk of 10.7.4 messing powermanagement up..

Thanks.

SpeedStep works good in my case. 10.7.4

Install this one to fix the missing SMC key

SMC::smcReadKeyAction ERROR $Num kSMCKeyNotFound(0×84) fKeyHashTable=0×0

Will do later after work! What about Trim? I used trimenabler 2.0 and that messed up the partition. Anyone have the correct patch handy?

Thanks

Thanks David, I forgot to Activate the TRIM support :)
I've never used trimenabler but just a perl command line, now I can tell you that It works with 10.7.4 too.

Open the Terminal, type the following command and rebuild the kernel cache.

sudo perl -pi -e 's|\x41\x50\x50\x4C\x45\x20\x53\x53\x44|\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00|g' /System/Library/Extensions/IOAHCIFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/IOAHCIBlockStorage.kext/Contents/MacOS/IOAHCIBlockStorage

Thanks :)

@edit
Today morning I've patched the last 3304 BIOS version but I haven't flashed yet.
Stay tuned for updates. ^^

Hi Buoo , which news for new release bios 3304 ?
If you patched new bios...this is a native speed step?

Will do later after work! What about Trim? I used trimenabler 2.0 and that messed up the partition. Anyone have the correct patch handy?

Thanks

Installing that fakesmc kext causes my system to KP on boot with 'Key not found' error and multiple displays of the cpu cores. I mean I get that SMCreadkeyaction error before but I could still boot. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

BTW: I tried to replace the fakesmc kext with one from MB and it still KP even after I updated the bad FakeSMC File. Anyideas?

Oh, I'm sorry for you :(
I get a clean kernel.log with new FakeSMC.kext, could you attach a pic of the KP?

Any chance for the 3305 Bios to get patched for the Gene-z/Gen 3? It'd be super appreciated! Otherwise I'm trying to wrap my head around my SSDT as with this board I've never ever seen one as screwy as this. The P-State definitions are within another state, and tossed into another definition-it seriously makes no sense. All I want to do is define my P-States up to x48 (running at 4.8ghz). It'd be sweet if you could take a look a look at it but no need to I'm bound to figure it out in a couple of days... Though probably not really that good (got the SSDT out of Ubuntu AIDA64 is 6 SSDT's long rather than 3)

Hi Philz :)

To patch your bios, take a look in this thread http://www.insanelym...howtopic=278208
About the SSDT, maybe there will be differences because yours is a Gen3 series but this thread is a good starting point http://www.insanelym...pic=266525&st=0

Well I've read both threads extensively (this one and the other gene-z thread) but take a look at the actual SSDT's it seems to me the important PSS part is smack in middle of no mans land in between two parts to one argument. Been using a self hacked generic SSDT but doesn't seem right... Someone else also said the SSDT makes no sense but I'm looking more for expert advice at this point :)

I do know how to edit it though it just isn't making any sense to me this one...

Hi all : I thought I might tried the 3304 modified BIOS for my P8Z68-V Pro (currently running 3304 and 10.7.3 flawlessly) to upgrade to 10.7.4.

When trying to update the bios I to your modified 3304, I get a "Integrity Check" error. Is this BIOS not compatible with the Asus P8Z68-V Pro?
