Creating files or renaming them works without a problem, I just can't delete anything.
The following comes up whenever I try to remove a file or directory:

I have Windows on multiboot, so I gave that a try and was able to remove the files without a problem.
The other thing that worked was opening terminal and switching to root (sudo su) then removing the files -- no problems here either.
And that's why I'm confused, because the permissions on all the files and directories are all the same: drwxrwxrwx 1 aspin staff
aspin being my username, and my account be an administrators account that until recently, could easily remove any file on that drive.
Long story short, I can remove files from Windows and from terminal when root, but under my own account I get an error.
Anyone have a guess on what might be happening here?
