Hi there! I'm looking forward to purchasing a graphics card like yours, the ATI HD 5670. Did you use any injector or kext to get the card working, or just worked out of the box? I'm looking for a card that works without any kexts or injectors. Thanks a lot.

yes it works out of the box but some apps (geekbench, dvd player) still crash because of the lack of proper drivers.

Lack of proper drivers? Shouldn't it work flawlessly because it was used in previous Macs? :thumbsup_anim: I intended to buy it too...

SOLVED.

Just mention the resolution in your org.chameleon.Boot.plist file. So mine is:

<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>2560x1600x32</string>

Set it according to your displays max resolution.

That worked for me, but still no QE/CI

I have a XFX ATI 5670 1gb
