HeyYoWL
Hey guys does anyone know how to get OSX working properly with a Zotac GTX 460 1GB? I've successfully installed OSX on my machine but I cannot for the life of me get the video working properly. It'll boot into OSX without a hitch but in ugly 800x600 resolution. Once I'm in I tried following the instructions for ##### (which includes Tonymacx86's nVidia fix), but every time I reboot I just get a black screen when it's supposed to boot into the OS. Here is my specs: Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 OCZ 4GB RAM ZOTAC GTX 460 1GB Asus Essence STX I've followed the instructions properly before rebooting so I know it's not that. I've tried rebooting with -v -x PciRootUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=Yes, or =0 & =No. The only time it boots back into OSX properly where I can see the desktop itself is if I disable the nVidia driver. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong here? Also, does anyone know how to get my sound card working here, or do I have to use my onboard audio? Gringo Vermelho
You need to be running at least 10.6.5 and the Nvidia Quadro drivers. Furthermore, the Zotac GTX 460 has a different output configuration than most GTX 460 cards and need special treatment if you want to use a DVI port.
