Anyone have any success getting Realtek ALC888 going in DP4 ? I tried  using my SL kext but that didnt achieve any results the kext seems to load with kextload but nothing any pointers?

I can't get sound to work either on DP4 ALC889.  I have tried hexediting the lion kext tried the 10.6.2 and 10.6.7 but nothing works.  It's odd though the 10.6.2 kext works on my laptop fine.

i was able to get sound now i m working on graphics and a stable ps/2 driver lol

Got mine working with LegacyHDA 888.kext in E/E and replace AppleHDA.kext in S/L/E with AppleHDA from 10.6.2

Also cured some graphics issues I was having in that I could not Play any H264 video.

You will also need to edit your DSDT.aml. Make sure you patch from Snow Leopard as Patcher doesn't seem to work correctly from Lion 10.7.

i had gotten it with a bin patched apple hda but when the update came it stopped working i m now using voodoohda
