Hey Guys.
It seems that lion doesn't use all of my ram. I installed 3gb but in activity monitor it only shows two. I also put 4gb in but the same. System prefs says 4gb installed but activity only 2.
It also shows the wrong cpu. I have a core 2 quad 2,6ghz@3,4 ghz.

What does opening a terminal shell and running "top" give you? In the PhysMem section, towards the end, do you see "used" and "free?"
If you open up more apps, does the free go down and used increase?

I wonder if defining the system as a different model mac, as in smbios.plist will change anything (or does 10.7 even support that?). I forgot to mention that if your graphics eats shared memory, you need to subtract that.
