There is a GeekBench comparison between the new quad core Mac Pro & PowerMac G5 at <http://www.geekpatrol.ca/blog/135/>. I ran GeekBench on my Hackintosh...Pentium D 940 3.2 GHz / Intel D945GCZ motherboard and added the results to GeekPatrol's table.

 

Power Mac G5 278.3

Overall Score Mac Pro 297.9

Hackintosh 203.1

I got a Geekbench Score of 203 with my Overclocked P4 single 521 2.8 CPU OC'ed to 3.8 ghz.

My Geekbench score is near the Mac Pro.... Juas!!!
